I put in Serial Number and it's not suitable for my device? Not sure what that is about, but I cannot download. It's Midnight, I will get with you and Taldron tomorrow. Or hell Mick you are close, overnight the damm thing to you and you figure it out!

Not sure what happen, but that page is no longer available. I looked around today and there is no HTC Fuze ROM Update.

Do you know what happen? I take it there were reported issues and instead of fielding thousands of calls, they removed from preventing futher damage?

Looks like they are experiencing problems verifying S/N’s. They may take that out for the download when they make the page available again.

All,

I finally got this update for my Fuze today. It appears they have corrected the Serial Number Issue (it still ask for it) but site is up and working.

Read the instructions. Matter fact, read them a few times. Follow them and follow the instructions for the backup CAREFULLY!! Follow the instructions for removing storage card, If you leave it in, my thinking is the phone with attempt to format it when if formats the phone.

IT WILL ERASE EVERYTHING. Just like it says! Programs, fav. links in IE, Contact (and photos).

Install took @ 10 minutes as it says. The phone seem fastet. Install does reboot before and after, Sprite Restore did reboot before and after, and I have like 10 applications I had to reboot for after I installed them back to the phone.

I get my contacts from work, but I started the pain staking task of associating pictures again (kinda of), somewhere here I posted about my pictures and all the album covers and the phone takes my music album covers and makes them albums in photo? I got the bright idea to put contact pictures in folder called PHONE but that was before I started this process. Is used to be.............

ran out of post space. It used to be If you had album's A - Z, If you were looking at "M" for instance and wanted to open another album, you would open at M. Now it goes back to album A. My last name is SIMS, so by the time I started adding family, I had to go thru album A - R before doing another contact.

Most of my programs seem to be doing fine and I have not received any strange errors as of yet, but I have only been playing for 4 hours. Yes, put some time aside if your going to do this.

This sucks!!!! Somehow, Slide to answer is on, so if you press the answer button or Ignore button it does nothing!!!!!

I'm an educated (Ok, 1/2 educated, I purchased my degree!) and have went thru every option on this damm phone and cannot cut it off!!!! Matter of fact, I have a headache!

Next step, ship this crap to Mick300ZX!!!!

It has to be as I never had slide to answer before and never wanted it! I just want to pickup the phone and hit the button like before. If I cannot figure it out this weekend, I will call HTC on Monday! If they cannot turn it off, Sprite backup and restore!
