I need help on that as well.  I installed ActiveSync on my laptop but the only thing it seems to sync to Outlook from my phone is the calendar info; does not sync the contacts.   Of course Sprint tech support does not know what to do.

I'm not quite sure what you mean here.  Are you saying that during the syncing process, the contacts are copied somewhere on the computer, although they don't appear in Outlook?

Ok--got it to work.  Problem was it was too simple!
When activesync box opens go to tools--options---and check the contacts box.  Contacts should
then show up when syncing.

Sprint just confirmed something I suspected.  The reason my contacts do not display in Outlook after syncing is because I do not have the full (paid for) version of Outlook; I have the 60-day (non-paid) trial version and as we know trial versions never display all of the features of that software.  So there you have it.  Guess I'll have to go on Microsoft's website & pay the $49.95 for the full version if I want to view my contacts after syncing.

Update 11-13-08:  Obtained the full version of Outlook; sync my contacts and YES they do appear in Outlook.  Good thing too because I didn't look forward to using the phone's keyboard to key all the extra crap (notes) that I had listed under certain contact names. I was able to type all that stuff in Outlook from my laptop and sync it to the phone.
