My phone would actually speak to me when I had a meeting or scheduled appointment. After the flash upgrade, it no longer did. I got it figured out today.

Setting>Voice Command>Notifications.

Click "Announce notifications though device or wired hedset only.

Then Unclick "Only during free time"

Now, if you have "Weekly Change Control Meeting - IT Conference Room", it will announce it thru speaker "Weekly Change Control Meeting, Location IT Conference Room in 15 minutes" thru the speakers!!!!

The reason I like this, sometimes phone is on my desk but Im in co-workers cubical or at printer.

You know, this is cool. I turned it on and LOVE it!!! Smiley

Although, the first time my phone talked to me, it kinda caught me off guard and scared me a little... LOL!

LMAO! Small Issue...

When in a meeting, and forgetting to put your phone on silent, and you get a notification about another meeting while in said meeting, everyone just stares... "Whoa, your phone talks to you when you have meeting? COOL! I want that!!!"

Swear to God, first time it did that to me I was taking a leak and was clueless!!! I thought someone was playing a joke and looking under stalls!

Second, if you work in professional environment (and I take it you do because you mention "Meetings") Turn off the Text and messinging voice notification. If your in said meeting and I text you "Talderon, your an a**hole" guess what? Everyone in said meeting gets to here!

I knew the Fuze could do this because one of those we bought used had this setting turned on and kept announcing the previous owner's meetings until we did a hard reset.  I just could not figure out how to turn this feature back on.

I just followed David's instructions.  Now, we will see if this works for me.

It worked!

Now, I just wish I could change the voice.

(I downloaded a sexy British male voice for my GPS and got rid of the pre-programed annoying female on that device. )  Shocked
