I've been trying to read up on this FW and can't get a concise answer. Does the fuze accept the 6.5 wm fw? Is it even out yet? Where can I get it if it is, and is it better than 6.1 which I currently have? What features is it supposed to come with?

Read this thread: http://www.htcfuze.org/index.php?topic=776.0

Get information on other ROM's here: http://www.htcfuze.org/index.php?board=18.0

As for an "OFFICIAL" HTC/AT&T Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM. It'll be a while still.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Here is the thing, the CORE OS is released. BUT, you won't see an "OFFICIAL" ROM release until HTC has tweaked and bloated it, THEN AT&T (or other carriers) Tweak and Bloat it and THEN they will release it for their CURRENT Handsets, meanwhile, all their Dev time is going into their NEW handsets to try and entice you to upgrade to get it NOW rather than wait for them to decide to release something.

I used to work for AT&T and now work for T-Mobile. I will tell you that T-Mobile is WAY... WAAAAAAAYYYYYY better at giving the customers what they want than just about any other carrier. That is why we embraced Android. Withing DAYS of the 1.5 and 1.6 released we were sending out OTA updates for handsets. AT&T never did anything that fast unless they were forced too due to some kind of mass issue or whatever.

Consumers have more power than they realize, they just don't speak up loud enough.

Talderon,

You are correct about AT&T being SLOW. HTC came out with new ROM in June. If you return your phone and they have to flash it, you still get the original ROM to this day!!!

As for Customer Service, I disagree. Look at all my post. I always get what I want, Just was tired of spending 2 hours a month on the phone fighting for it. Hence I added my mother to my account and she does it for me.

And it's in the manual, "Offer them an iPhone and/or free GPS for 90 days!"
