We do get street view. It's only available and limited places. I just checked Washington D.C and it worked. When you find a place you want to use street view tap and hold down the stylus. When the circle completes choose "street view" and it should pop up.
Note : Most places will say "Street View Not Available" so if you see that don't think it doesn't work it's just very limited to what street view you are able to see.

I may have a different version of Google maps. I don't even get the street view option when I hold down the stylus, I do get 4 options but none of them are street view

Yes it does, but is not too practical. I heard there's a new version out there with better GPS.

You know, if Google would just add Turn-by-Turn voice capabilities to Google Maps, it would really kill most GPS applications out there. I love using this because it is more updated than my in-car GPS. Living in the Seattle area, this is very important as we ALWAYS have construction going on and things change here all the time. My TomTom has gotten me in many binds wanting me to turn left on roads I can't make lefts on anymore. Ugh... ~T

Try Amaze Talderon. I use it and it works perfectly with turn-by-turn voice commands.
The only down side, if there is an accident you have to drive about 1.5 miles out of your way. for the first 1.5 miles, it just recaculates you to "turn around!" Once at a safe distance away from original site, it takes you a different route!
