I'm looking to get service with At&t and I wanted to run a few apps the require internet connectivity in the backround.  With the Fuze and the At&t will it let you stay connected 24/7 to the internet even if the connection goes dormant.

For example I want to you use a remote control/view utiltiy for the Fuze. So from my PC it will allow me to remote into my mobile phone and see my mobile phone's screen, and make input, etc..
So I'm wondering if I have the IP address  for the phone if I can connect to it via the internet anytime from my pc, or if I have to wait until the phone establishes a connection to the internet when it surfs.

Because I want to access my phone from my pc at anytime.  Hopefully that makes sense

Im not 100% sure, but I would have to say  yes it does. I have 2 reasons for saying yes.

1. I use SPB Shell with current weather/News and it updates constantly. So my connection must be up.

2. Last time I was in Sweden, AT&T kept sending me nasty notices about high data usage. I called and informed them I was not even using the phone.  Turns out everytime weather/news or GPS updated, they charged me Internation Data Bandwidth.

But since you are reversed of my situation, I think (again not 100%), you might have to open a "remote" client on your phone configured with the IP of Desktop, so your phone just sits on the internet (AT&T) and waits to answer for your IP
