Too many unanswered questions. First, you unlocked it to do what? There are 2 types of unlocked methods. One lets you go to another network, the other lets you flash different ROMS. Which did you do.

Next, sheaching for networks. Do you mean Phone network or WiFi Network?

Next, what radio do you have?

OK, I think I understand now. You had the phone, it worked, you unlocked it, cooked it, not it does not work? Got it................The message you receive is becuase your radio is not compatable with the current radio in the ROM. XDA Developers has plenty of Radios available, which is right for you, I cannot tell you. Search around there for "Radio" and see what you get. I would download a few CDMA Radios and try them until you get one that connects. You flash a radio the same as flashing a ROM except no information is deleted from the phone.

Additionally, Look in my signature and get that Radio as it's seem to serve everyone well.

You have a CDMA Fuze, Fuze does not come GMS. If you have a SIM Card, you are CDMA. The Fuze is (or was) sold by AT&T, CDMA. The TouchPro, which looks (and acts like) a Fuze is GMS and does not have a SIM Card.

Again, look for the radio listed in my signature on XDA Developers.  or send me your e-mail in the next 20 minutes, I will send *.ZIP to you. Good Luck.

OK. You have a Fuze, just like mine. It is CDMA not GSM. In America, we have 2 CDMA Carriers, AT&T and T-Mobile. They use SIM Cards. We have 2 GSM carriers, Sprint and Verzion (Verzion also sold the TouchPro) but they do not have SIM Cards.

The reason I got the Fuze, I travel internationally. When I land, I just get a pre-paid MotoPhone SIM and I have a local phone! (well not really local. Its on local network but you pay more for pre-paid a little. Still cheaper than International call)

I cannot give you and EXACT number, but 85%-90% of the world is CDMA. Some countries support GSM, but not all.

No and yes,

Your phone is HSDPA/WCDMA 2100/900/850Mz.
Quad-band GSM/GRPS, EDGE 850/900/1800/19800Mhz.

Long story short, you are using one for voice and the other (Edge) for Data. Which is why CDMA phones can multi-task. I can talk to mom on the phone and surf the internet at the same time.

Having used the HTC 8525 Hermes for two years, I've been used to having good signal strength on 3G, Edge, and GPRS towers. In my office here at AT&T I've typically gotten three or four bars on the meter via the 8525. Last week I upgraded to the Fuze, AT&T's version of the Raphael, and have noticed that the signal strength is noticeably weaker. In the office I now only get two bars instead of three or four. A colleague using an iPhone gets five bars. Another colleague gets four on his Samsung Epic. Around Oklahoma City I find the device constantly switching from the Edge network to 3G, ostensibly reducing the battery life of the device as it hunts for towers.
